Arena di Verona

The Arena di Verona is a Roman amphitheater from the 1st century AD. It is considered one of the best-preserved ancient theaters and is still used for opera performances today (opera festival every summer). Visitors can freely explore the impressive oval with its tiers and arches during the day. With the Verona Card, you can enter through a separate entrance (Gate 5) without long waiting times.

Casa di Giulietta (Juliet's House)

The Casa di Giulietta is a medieval townhouse that became famous as Juliet's home from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. In the courtyard stands a bronze statue of Juliet, and the house features the legendary balcony - the setting of the famous balcony scene. Visitors can climb onto the balcony and feel the romantic atmosphere. With the Verona Card, the visit is free, but you must reserve a time slot online in advance.

Museo di Castelvecchio

Castelvecchio is a 14th-century castle built by the Scaliger dynasty. The crenellated Ponte Scaligero bridge leads across the river, once serving as the castle's escape route. Today, Castelvecchio houses a museum with a collection of medieval and Renaissance art - from paintings and sculptures to historical weapons. You can wander through the castle courtyards and battlements and enjoy views of Verona and the Adige River from the ramparts.

Torre dei Lamberti

The Torre dei Lamberti from the 12th century rises 84 meters above the old town. Those who climb the 368 steps (or take the elevator) to the top are rewarded with a sweeping panorama - over the old town to the surrounding hills. The Verona Card includes admission to the tower (the elevator ride costs an additional €1).

Basilica San Zeno Maggiore

The Basilica San Zeno is an important Romanesque church in Verona (built in the 12th century). Its tufa and brick facade is decorated with a large rose window, the Wheel of Fortune. Inside, you'll find Romanesque columns, medieval frescoes, and the crypt with the tomb of Saint Zeno. With the Verona Card, you can visit this church and the adjacent cloister for free.

Verona Cathedral

The Verona Cathedral (Cathedral of Santa Maria Matricolare) combines Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The Romanesque portal leads into a high nave in Gothic style. Inside, numerous art treasures impress, including Titian's painting The Assumption of the Virgin. With the Verona Card, you can visit the cathedral for free.
