Description

The trip consists in a short walk through Avesa, a characteristic community on the hills around Verona, to be followed by a short trek uphill to reach a nice panoramic view spot, the whole experience is lead by our guide in order to offer explanations about the cultural history as well as the natural surroundings that make this place special.
From the starting point we will walk through the main road stopping here and there to see the most interesting features of this small village, such as the main square, an ancient church and the water spring which, in the past, determined the history of this rural community. Then we are going to turn our focus onto the natural environment around and our foot onto a rocky path which will lead us through the wood on top of ‘Monte Ongarina’ (a nearby hill) from which we can admire the view. Then we will proceed downhill through olive trees and vines to return to the beginning.
